Jazzpirations by Leonardas
🎷 Leonardas Pilkauskas – the guy who can make a saxophone sing, a flute flirt, and a clarinet crack jokes. A triple-threat on wind instruments, Leonardas is also a skilled composer, orchestrator-arranger, and jazz educator. Basically, if it involves music, he’s in.
He’s been swinging through the jazz scene since 2006. After sharpening his chops at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Bachelor’s, 2010) and the Amsterdam Conservatory (Master’s, 2012), he brought his talents back home to Lithuania, where he’s been spreading good vibes ever since.
When he’s not blowing minds (and reeds), Leonardas is busy arranging and orchestrating for projects like JJA Music, Martynas Levickis, Martynas Kavaliauskas, and a variety of big bands and wind orchestras. He also helps the next generation find their groove as an educator at the Modern School Center.
Leonardas keeps things jazzy with groups like JJazz Ensemble and Birthday Septet, and isn’t afraid to get a little pop now and then.
🎶 Albums? Oh yeah, he’s got those too:

How Deep Is Her Voice (2022)
-
And The Sun Will Shine When I’ll See You Again (2023)
